The DWARF 3 is a 1.3 kg smart telescope, 35 mm / 150 mm f/4.2, IP54, with EQ on any 1/4-20 photo tripod. Still listed by DWARFLAB. No tripod in the box.
Worth it if
- You want 4K, dust/splash cover, finer sampling, and daytime wildlife tracking in a pack.
Skip it if
- You need Andromeda in one frame without a mosaic, or a tripod in the box. That is the Seestar S30 Pro.

DWARF 3 battery and heat
Smallest official timed run is 3 h 5 min of 4K tracking video. Other official lines say 4 h, 5 h 38 min, or 5.5 h. Charge 0–45°C. Conservative operating overlap is −10 to 45°C. The product page claims −20°C. Floor kept at −10°C.
128 GB eMMC, about 100–110 GB usable. Closed DWARFLAB app. No ASCOM. Daytime AI birding is a DWARF 3 feature the mini does not match. Still listed by the brand.

Questions
Is the DWARF 3 discontinued?
DWARFLAB’s US store still listed it when this note was filed. There is no official discontinuation statement. One European retailer has called it out of production. Treat it as still sold by the brand, not as discontinued.
What is the max EQ exposure?
60 seconds on the tele. Some pages mix that with the mini’s 90 s figure. Wide EQ on DWARF 3 is listed at 90 s. The 60 s tele cap is the official unboxing number.
Does it include a tripod?
No. Bag, magnetic solar filter, USB-C cable, cloth. Tripod thread is 1/4-20. The optional hydraulic tripod is a separate accessory.
What is the warranty?
Two years from the date of receipt on the US warranty page, original buyer, official or authorized stores. Help text also mentions activation. You pay inbound shipping.
