Yes. Both spec pages list an 86 × 54 mm sheet and a 62 × 46 mm image. Sofort 2 specifies Leica Sofort color film pack (mini). Mini 12 specifies FUJIFILM instax mini Instant Film. The Sofort 2 manual says use Leica Sofort color film only.

Can the Sofort 2 print from a phone?

Yes, through Leica FOTOS. The last 50 prints stay on the camera and can print again. Mini 12 has no app-print function on Fujifilm’s spec page.

Which warranty is longer?

Leica lists two years on photo products. Fujifilm’s U.S. INSTAX warranty is one year. Both are limited.

Does the Mini 12 save a file?

No. Film only. Auto eject. About ninety seconds to develop. No sensor. No LCD. No reprint memory.

What powers each camera?

Sofort 2 uses an internal 3.7 V, 740 mAh cell. Not user-swappable. About 100 prints. USB-C, two to three hours. Mini 12 uses two AA alkaline cells.
