Yes, over Micro USB, including during shooting and playback. It is not USB-C. The supplied cable is Micro USB.

Does it have a built-in ND filter?

No. The G7 X Mark III has a 3-stop ND. The GR IIIx has a 2-stop ND. On the RX100 VII you live with F2.8–4.5 and shutter speed.

What is the CIPA battery life?

About 260 shots on the LCD, 240 on the EVF. Movie actual is listed around 40 minutes. Carry a spare NP-BX1 if the day is long.
